your healing journey STARTs HERE

NEW CLIENTS

Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and it's normal to have questions or feel uncertain about getting started. We've designed our intake process to be simple, thoughtful, and centered around helping you find the right fit. Whether this is your first experience with therapy or you're returning after previous treatment, we're here to guide you through each step.

HOW IT WORKS?

01.

REACH OUT

The first step is simple — just reach out. Fill out our contact form or give us a call and one of our team members will get back to you by the end of the next business day. No lengthy intake forms, no pressure. Just a brief conversation to learn a little about what's bringing you in and answer any questions you might have about working with us.

02.

SCHEDULE YOUR INTAKE

Once you've reached out, we'll reserve an intake appointment for you. Your appointment is confirmed once your paperwork is submitted by the specified date.

03.

BEGIN THE WORK

Your first session is where the real work starts. This is your first real conversation with your therapist — a dedicated space to share what's been going on, what's brought you to therapy, and what you're hoping to explore. Come as you are. There's no right way to begin. We'll begin to get to know you — your history, your patterns, your inner life — and start building the foundation for the work ahead. There's no pressure to have it all figured out. We'll move at a pace that feels right, and we'll build from there together.

Finding the Right Therapist

We understand that finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of beginning therapy. When you contact our practice, we'll take the time to learn about your concerns, preferences, scheduling needs, insurance coverage, and clinician availability to help recommend the therapist who we believe is the best fit for you. If you have a preference for a particular therapist, we will always do our best to accommodate that request whenever possible.

Ready to Get Started?

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to do it alone. If you're ready to begin—or simply have questions about whether Working Through Therapy Group is the right fit—we'd be happy to hear from you.
